About Us

Lymington SailAbility is a completely self funding charity, which relies on the generosity of others. For over ten years people have given generously to us allowing us to expand each year. Every penny that comes to us goes on getting disabled people out on the water.

We sail in the Lymington River and go out into the Solent. We sail in the Lymington River and go out into the Solent.

We have a legion of helpers who make this all possible; they very generously give their time to help rig the boats, launch and recover them and drive the safety boat that ensures our safety.

If you have any spare time on your hands and fancy a few hours by and on the sea, contact anyone of us or just turn up on the day. You do not need to be able to sail, all you need is a willing pair of hands and a sense of humour!

We are an independent charity, with no government funding. We have to rely on the generosity of others.

Please next time you think of giving Money to charity, think of us. We have no administration costs so every penny given goes to getting people out on the water!
